Ear, nose and mouth, pain .. NO ATM?!?
For several years I've had in and out of ear pain, like a sharp pain in the inner ear or just below the ear. My nose hurts sometimes, and I feel like if I put pressure on the face of all the pain disappears. I thought I might have to do with my teeth, but I have my root canal is needed and still has pain. The pain is more intense and debilitating. I feel like I'm in my deaf ear to all this pain. I do not think ATM. What could be? I think it should see a (ears, nose, throat) doctor or an oral surgeon. The symptoms you have can be many things. You may have a TMJ disorder .. Do you grind teeth, rivet or under stress? Have you had any trauma to the face or mandible (lower jaw)? All this may be related to disorders ATM. I would definitely get a panoramic radiograph (full mouth) .. If you went to an oral surgeon this is what it would take. This will show the maxillary sinuses, temporomandibular joints, and all her teeth. It could be as simple as a sinus infection, but would have greenish yellow mucca blowing your nose. It could also be something as complex as nerve damage.
