I syndrome, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) and when I went doctors a couple of years I was told it was the worst the doctor had seen. I was offered surgery because my jaw was locked and would not open past a certain point, but as I am closer to the time of surgery, opened it. I pain in the jaw and when I try to yawn my jaw hangs, keeps me from being able to yawn and very new cause me pain. I am sure it is right to stress that my jaw became locked in the first place. I wonder what I can do for the pain my jaw. Is this normal working paracetamol or should I go to doctors? Thank you.

Severe ATM / TMD Pain-Have tried many treatments. Can anyone suggest alternatives?
W * diagnosis / ATM / tdg 5 years * Saw previously dentist and oral surgery * several times tried and / or use: / Guard drills / bitten pain medications / drugs OTC / acupuncture / massage / extras / other natural homeopathic remedies, to no avail. The only other option given jaw is a major surgery, I want to avoid. Symptoms: all types, but especially with ear pain (feels like a horrible ear infection), congestion and break up. Also severe headache, facial swelling and pain interfering with my ability to function normally. Is any ATM / TMD, or could there be another problem? Reflecting on what I can do to relieve pain or other things that can be the cause? I'll see my internal med. Tomorrow the doctor.
